Zoe-perry

Perry was the daughter of Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). The character Jackie Harris was played by her mother in each of the two episodes she appeared on Roseanne. She was not allowed to start acting in front of her family until she reached adulthood, as they feared the strain it might cause. Perry shy and shy for acting in school, began to perform in the theater at Northwestern University because she wanted to meet new people. Perry, after graduating from Boston University moved to New York in search of acting roles on television. Perry was able to land small roles in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, homesickness drove her to California to find theater work. She performed on Broadway as a part of The Other Place with her mother in 2013. In 2015, she was a part of her father and Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning play Anna Christie in the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. Perry was in nine episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. Perry was also featured in the role of a political thriller Scandal along with her father. She played the younger Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off series from CBS's The Big Bang Theory was an additional portrayal that was younger of her mother. Despite the fact that she has a connection with her family to the character she got the role via an audition.
